Manor Farm bounced back from Saturdays defeat with a battling winning performance against Hallen on Wednesday night.
In a first half with few chances Rich Fey did well to save Mark Reynolds effort and Tony Cook should have done better with a shot that he dragged wide of the far post.
He showed all of his striking instincts though well into the second half when he latched onto a fine through pass to take the ball round the home keeper and slot it into the empty net from an angle to give Farm the lead.
Farm held firm with Kemp and Saunders outstanding in a solid back four, although diminutive midfielder Paul Fowler didn't help their cause for the last five minutes, getting sent off fot two bookable offences, the second for pointlessly arguing with the referee.
